ESTABLISHING THE ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN CORPORATIONS

Summary

Every company has its own organizational culture, comprising the philosophy and principles of business management, the system of value, the standards of the behavior, the ways of solving problems, decision making tools, the labor atmosphere, the “folklore”-i.e the history of the company's values, taboo system or "unacceptable decisions". Organizational culture is a way of thinking and action means, which grew into habits and became a tradition. It is shared for some extent with all the employees of the organization. It should also be acquired and partially recognized by newcomers, otherwise they will not become full members of the collective. Organizational culture is a combination of behaviors, symbols, rituals and myths that match the values characterized by the organization and its shared values and transmitted to each member in a verbal form as a life experience.

Influence of organizational culture and effect on business success, at first glance, is difficult to measure or evaluate. However, nobody argues that corporate culture, mission and values clearly create a successful or unsuccessful business.

What is the organizational culture? Definition is too much, for example Jack Walech says that "Organizational culture is the rules in which business is done"; the inventor and businessman Alan Adler believes that "the organizing culture is the civilization of the workplace". Despite the multitude of opinions, organizational culture is the immune system that determines "organizational metabolism".
